“The box arrived Thursday morning without any kind of label. It was small and plain, and Kenny Perkins left it on the edge of his desk until just before noon. When he finally opened it—he heard a wispy scratching from inside the box as he did—he discovered his wife’s severed finger and her wedding ring.”

YOU MURDERED YOUR WIFE

YOU THOUGHT YOU GOT AWAY WITH IT

BUT SOMEBODY KNOWS YOUR SECRET

Enter the mind of award-winning master of suspense Tyler Miller in his debut collection of twisted tales and macabre horrors.

“I was so tense reading Til Death Do Us, it made my teeth ache.”
— Melody Murray

Remember when reading

used to

keep you up

at night?

Remember when you

used to say

just one more page?

Remember when

a story

used to

thrill you and terrify you

at the same time?

“This Monday morning at Village Mart I saw the dead boys in the produce isle.  It wasn’t the first time, but the name of the one beside the cilantro and parsley escaped me.  They stood like pale statues, gritty water dripping from their sodden clothes and slicking the gray tile, and when the misters came on the faint spray coated the carrots and celery and peppers and passed right through the dead boys. “

YOU SEE THEIR GHOSTS

YOU KNOW WHY THEY DIED

YOU KNOW THEY’RE COMING FOR YOU

“Nobody writes like Tyler Miller. His stories get stuck in your mind. They haunt you and freak you out and make you care all at the same time.”
— Joanie Bankson

and now, a word from our author

Hey folks! Thanks for taking the time to check out my book. If you haven’t downloaded your ebook copy already, scroll on up and snag one from one of the participating retailers.

I grew up in a small town in central Washington State. Most of the year, there wasn’t much to do. I was a reader from early on, and somewhere along the way my mind was clearly whacked from too much RL Stine, Christopher Pike and Stephen King.

But otherwise I’m really a well-adjusted human being.

My wife, Stefani, and I live in Spokane, Washington. We have a dog, Nickelby (don’t worry, he’s still alive). We’re a pretty normal couple, except that we spend a lot of money on books, we invest far too much emotion into our fantasy football league, and we both think Adam Levine was robbed in season seven of The Voice.

Why Should You Read My Book?

Growing up, my favorite kind of stories were ones that sucked you in, kept you turning pages, and stung you with a sharp twist at the end. I loved stories by Stephen King, Ray Bradbury and Richard Matheson. Stories that haunted you and also made you care. Stories that thrilled you while also making you think.

It’s been my greatest pleasure to study and hone my craft as a storyteller to be able to give that same experience to my readers. From the very beginning, I wanted to write stories that you’d never put down, even as dinner went up in flames on the stove. Just one more page, and then I’ll get the fire extinguisher.

Stories like The Other Side of the Door, the title novella of this collection. The tale begins simply enough: a newly-wed couple moves into a house. In this case, a duplex. An older man and a younger woman. They’re expecting a child.

Happy day.

But like much of life, not everything is as happy as it seems.

What if our young wife isn’t truly pregnant after all? And what if the apparently empty half of their cozy duplex isn’t quite as deserted as it seems? What if what awaits is a dark and tempting evil that promises all the happy dreams and all the unholy pleasures right there on the other side of the door?

Now, does that sound like your cuppa?

Here’s what I’m promising you: a good story well told. A story about real people and how they deal with unreal situations. A story that will make your heart pitter-patter a little faster. A story to jangle your nerves. A story that might cause a sleepless night or two.

Good luck to you, Reader.

Pleasant dreams.
